American guard Levi Randolph will boost the NZ Breakers line-up for their homecoming clash with Sydney Kings at Waitakere's Trusts Arena on Thursday.
The import suffered a hamstring injury hitting the game-winning shot against Perth Wildcats in Launceston, Tasmania, on May 1 and hasn't played since.
Since joining the Breakers last month, Randolph has averaged 13.5 points over eight games and they have won whenever he scores 15 points or more. They've also lost the last four games without him.
The Auckland-based ANBL team have returned home, after five months across the Tasman contesting a COVID-disrupted 2021 competition.
Their nine-win, 20-loss record leaves them well out of playoff contention, but they now have a chance to reconnect with fans that have not seen them play live in more than 500 days.
Captain Tom Abercrombie is sidelined for the Breakers' remaining seven games with a hamstring injury.
