Silver Ferns star Katrina Rore and her husband are celebrating the birth of their first child.
On Monday, Joel Rore took to social media to announce the arrival of daughter LilyBud Maria Rore.
"Very grateful and blessed for my two girls," Rore writes in his Instagram post.
"Mum is doing great… she's straight into the treats. So much love."
The 33-year-old has been off the court since October, when she withdrew from selection for the three-test series against England.
She initially cited "medical reasons", before revealing on Instagram that she and her husband were expecting.
"When you try, try and try again, seek medical advice, tests done, try, try and try again...persistence pays off," Rore said.
"Joel and I are super excited to be welcoming a new addition to our little whānau. Pēpē due 2021."
Rore has played 137 tests for the Silver Ferns and has been a key figure in the recent dominance of the Central Pulse in the ANZ Premiership.
