Fulltime - That's a wrap. Better game than last week with Manu Samoa looking much more polished tonight. take the two penaty tries out of that one and it was a super close game.
80mins - Try Manu Samoa: Kalolo Tuiloma - Well deserved try, Pick and go and eventually the big prop crashes over to end the game on a high. MAB 38-21
78mins - Manu Samoa looking for a a five-pointer to end. All-out attack from the visitors. Several phases with the Māori giving away three penalties in two minutes.
75mins - Penalty for the Māori - Slade thought he had scored from a kick and chase but he is ruled to have taken out Bryn Hall in the chase to the line.
74mins - Game is getting a little messy as the time winds down. Manu Samoa have a lineout on halfway.
67mins - Good little period of play for Manu Samoa .... nine phases close to the line but Ollie Norris wins a penalty for the Māori - over the ball carrier and they earn a reprieve.
64mins - Penalty Try Māori All Blacks - Genesis Mamea Lemalu is pinged for playing Jonah Lowe from a ground poistion as Lowe was reaching out to score from the back of the ruck ... and he's been marched for 10m to go with the automatic seven pointer. MAB 38-14
62mins - Penalty for the Māori - good attack from Manu Samoa but a solid hit from Ioane forces a mistake at the breakown and Motuga is pinged for entering from the side.
59mins - Try Māori All Blacks: Jonah Lowe - 15 phases of sterling Māori rugby. In the end Nankivell runs hard at the line and creates an overlap as Lowe takes a high pass and runs in for his second try. MAB 31-14
54mins - Manu Samoa looking for the lineout maul from 20m out but they've turned it over, Walker-Leawere getting through to disrupt. Scrum Māori.
52mins - He pushes the kick just to the left so score stays at 26-14.
51mins - Penalty for Manu Samoa from a handy spot and Taefu will have a crack from 30m out - just to the right of the posts.
48mins - Scrum for Samoa just inside Māori territory. Ioane with poor handling on a counter attack.
46mins - Try Māori All Blacks: Sean Wainui - Lineout drive is just short... Hall fires a wide pass out to Wainui and he crosses over untouched. Black is off the park with that injury so Ioane steps up and nails this one through the posts. MAB 26-14
44mins - Penalty for the Māori in front of the sticks. Ioane finds touch.... lineout 5m. Otere Black looks to have rolled an ankle.
41mins - Try Manu Samoa: Tomasi Alosio - Great team try. halfback Fekealii break through the midfield... brought down by Ioane. Several phases on attack with Motuga looking dangerous ... Fekealii snipes and throws an audacious inside pass to Alosio who reaches out in a tackle to score. MAB 19-14
Second-half: Iona gets play back underway for the second spell.
Halftime - That'll be oranges. Late surge from the Māori All Blacks has them up by 12 with a man advantage for the first nine minutes of the second half.
39mins - Try Māori All Blacks: Penalty Try: High tackle on Nankivell and the Māori have a penalty. Black finds touch 5m out.
The drive is good from the Māori and Prinsep is claiming a try but referee Fraser isn't convinced. TMO will take a look and he hasn't got the ball down. Could be a foul play componenet here with a collapsed maul. Samuel Slade is ruled to have pulled the maul down and it'll be a penalty try! And Slade gets marched for 10mins. MAB 19-7
38mins - Quality counter form the Māori. Nock quickly releases the ball to Black who pops a kick for Ioane and he gathers and is away .. he kicks ahead for Lowe who is winning the race but the ball bounces over his head and Samoa clear to touch through Illi.
36mins - Billy Harmon has taken a knock to the leg and is coming from the field. Josh Dickson on in his place. Lineout for Manu Samoa midway halfway and 22 Māori half.
34mins - Try Māori All Blacks: Jonah Lowe - Backline move sees Proctor running at the line and his offload is brilliant as he is falling in a tackle and Lowe runs in with a dive in the corner and dots down. MAB 12-7
33mins - Backline move for the Māori ... Ioane kicks along the ground and the ball has been knocked on by Tuala as he was trying to collect the ball on the slide, Scrum 5m for the Māori.
31mins - Fomai with a powerful run down the left .... gret tackle from Nankivell in cover and he earns a penalty as Fomai is pinged for holding on. Lineout on the Samoan 22 for the Māori.
28mins - Manu Samoa starting to boss the game a bit. Plenty of ball at the moment and they are creating a bit of panic in the Māori defence. The Māori ABs have a scrum midway halfway and 22 in their own half.
24mins - Try Manu Samoa: Neria Fomai - Great response. Nock box kicks and Iona climbs high to take and he sneaks through the chasing line and is sway... sweeping pass to left winger Fomai and he races away from 30m out to score. Iona converts. 7-7
22mins - Try Māori All Blacks: Ash Dixon - Textbook lineout drive from the Māori ABs - Dixon crashes over. Black from out wide drills the extras. MAB 7-0
21mins - Anae pinged for entering the ruck from the side. Great run in the leadup from Jonah Lowe. Lineout 5m for the Māori.
19mins - Seven phases for the Māori - eventually Tamati Williams is forced over the touchline by Alofipo, Lineout Samoa on their own 22.
17mins - Five phases for Manu Samoa. Iona kicks - Wainui collects and fires inside to Ioane who clears well.
15mins - Scrum on halfway for Samoa. Wainui drops a Fekaelii box kick as Slade comes through with a good contest.
12mins - Good attack from Samoa through eight phases as Iona grubbers for Fomai. it's a bit long and Ioane collects on the run, turns and takes off..he beats three and goes inside to Douglas who finds Nock who kicks ahead but Tuala is back for Samoa. Penalty for not releasing the tackler.
9mins - Māori attack through a good run by Josh Ioane but Prinsep is pinged for holding on at the breakdown.
7mins - Lineout ruled not straight ... poor from Niuia who plays his Super rugby for the Blues.
6mins - Lineout 20m out for Manu Samoa after a lineout penalty against Parkinson.
5mins - Play breaks down for the Māori and Samoa break out through Fomai who kicks ahead but Billy Harmon is back to tidy up. Cleared by Nock. Lineout Samoa.
4mins - Exit play from the Samoans isn't great - Ioan only finds touch on the 22.
3mins - Great lineout drive defence from Manu Samoa - sacked it well and the ball is ruled unplayable. Defensive scrum for the Samoans.
1min - Samoan player pinged for not rolling away and the Māori ABs have a kickable penalty here if the want it. Skipper Ash Dixon is being treated for a neck injury. He's back up but looks a little tender. Blacks kicks for the corner and the Māori have a lineout 5m.
Kick-off - Underway at Mount Smart Stadium - Otere Black drills the bll deep into Manu Samoa's half and the visitors work for a kick but it's straight down Sean Wainui's throat and he runs back to the 22.
