Chiefs prop Aidan Ross has been called into the All Blacks, as injury cover for Karl Tu'inukuafe.
Ross, 25, joins up with the All Blacks ahead of the second test against Fiji in Hamilton next week, following the team's 57-23 victory in Dunedin on Saturday.
Born in Australia and also eligible for Scotland through his grandfather, Ross has represented New Zealand at the under-20 level.
The frontrower has proven to be a valuable part of the Chiefs side that reached the final of Super Rugby Aotearoa earlier this year, and re-signed with New Zealand Rugby through until 2023.
"He's going to stay with us for the week, and Aidan Ross comes in, which is pretty exciting for him," All Blacks assistant coach Brad Mooar said on Sunday.
"It's magnificent to see another guy come in and get a taste of it."
He comes in as cover for Tu'inukuafe, who is carrying a shoulder injury after playing in the All Blacks' 102-0 victory over Tonga last Saturday.
Tu'inukuafe did not feature in Saturday's win in Dunedin, with George Bower and Ethan de Groot occupying the loosehead prop spots.
First choice loosehead Joe Moody is also unavailable, having undergone foot surgery back in April, and ruled out for five months as a result.
