NRL 2021: Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Peta Hiku named for 150th NRL appearances, Jackson Frei to debut for Warriors against Bulldogs

Peta Hiku and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak will both make their 150th NRL appearances, while prop Jackson Frei will debut as part of NZ Warriors' team to face Canterbury Bulldogs on Sunday.

New Zealand internationals Hiku and Watene-Zelezniak both raise their milestones as the Warriors look for three consecutive victories, following wins over both Wests Tigers and Cronulla Sharks over the past two weeks.

Elsewhere, with props Kane Evans and Matt Lodge banned for one and two games respectively, 23-year-old Frei will make his first Warriors appearance, partnering captain Addin Fonua-Blake in the front row.

Frei will become the 15th Warriors debutant in 2021, and the sixth to make his NRL debut altogether.

The pair of Chad Townsend and Wayde Egan could also be in line for returns from respective shoulder injuries, both named on an extended interchange bench.

The Warriors will face the Bulldogs at Redcliffe, after the NRL confirmed the round 22 fixture has been moved away from Suncorp Stadium to alleviate pressure on the venue.
