Kiwi sprinter William Stedman has claimed a second Paralympic medal in less than 24 hours, finishing third in the men's T34 400m final in Tokyo.
It follows up his on bronze medal achievement from this event five years ago in Rio, finising in a time of 54.75.
Australia's world champion James Turner won gold in 52.80 - a new Paralympic record.
On Monday night, Stedman won silver in the men's T36 long jump.
Stedman, 21, produced a leap of 5.64m with his final jump, taking him from sixth in the standings all the way up into second.
Meanwhile, swimming superstar Sophie Pascoe will have a chance to add to her 17 Paralympic medal haul in the women's S9 100m freestyle final.
The Kiwi qualified fastest in the heats with a time of 1.03.75, with the final scheduled for 10:14pm on Tuesday.
Blade runner Anna Steven is also racing for a medal. The 20-year-old set the eighth fastest time in the women's T64 200m.
Steven's final is set to run at 10:52pm on Tuesday.
Earlier, cyclist Nicole Murray finished sixth in the women's C5 time trial, Sarah Ellington rode to 10th in the C1-3 time trial, while Anna Taylor failed to finish in the women's C4 time trial.
Rory Mead finished fifth in the men's H2 cycling time trial.
