Kiwi Joseph Parker has locked in a heavyweight rematch with British rival Dereck Chisora on December 19 (NZ time) at Manchester.
The former WBO champion edged Chisora via split decision in May, but has agreed to a second bout, as he tries to fight his way back into title contention.
Parker has slipped to third-ranked contender on WBO rankings, behind champion Anthony Joshua, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and unbeaten Brit Joe Joyce, while Chisora is currently ranked 10th in IBO rankings, after losing his last two fights to Parker and Usyk.
In their earlier contest, Chisora floored Parker in the first round, but the Kiwi battled back over 12 rounds for a victory that his opponent hotly contested at the time, immediately demanding another crack.
The meeting was Parker's first under new UK-based trainer Andy Lee, after he parted ways with longtime mentor Kevin Barry.
The contest, promoted by Eddie Hearn's Matchroom, will be Parker's third this year - he beat NZ rival Junior Fa by points decision in February, before dispatching Chisora three months later.
Last month, Parker's manager David Higgins hinted the Chisora rematch was close, with his charge already looking beyond towards a world title challenge.
"My understanding is that it's to have a rematch with Dereck Chisora in the United Kingdom, probably at the end of the year," said Higgins.
"If he beats Chisora, and then maybe one or two wins, then 100 percent, there's another title shot.
"If it is acceptable terms, then Joseph would potentially go to the UK and take the fight."
