Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has been quick to apologise, after a wayward free-kick bowled over a steward in the warm-up for his side's Champions League defeat to Young Boys.
After Ronaldo's errant kick flattened the unsuspecting steward at Bern's Wankdorf Stadium, the 36-year-old immediately halted his practice to check if she was okay.
Ronaldo jumped the barrier, before spending a few moments with the steward, as she received medical attention.
As a further apology, Ronaldo also gifted her his shirt after the game.
Ronaldo recently returned to Manchester United in Europe's summer transfer window for a reported NZ$25.2m fee.
That fee is already being repaid, with Ronaldo scoring twice on his return to Old Trafford, as the 'Red Devils' defeated Newcastle United 4-1.
Ronaldo also opened the scoring in their Champions League opener, but United threw their advantage away, as Young Boys' Moumi Ngamaleu and Theoson Siebatcheu both netted goals to condemn the Premier League leaders to a 2-1 loss.
