NZ Warriors forwards Kane Evans and Matt Lodge face bans for their yellow cards in Sunday's 44-0 defeat to Gold Coast Titans.
During two minutes of madness at Gold Coast's CBus Super Stadium, Evans, Lodge and Jazz Tevaga were all sin-binned, after becoming entangled with their opposites, as the Auckland side hit rock bottom to finish their 2021 campaign.
As a result, all three have been cited by the NRL judiciary, along with young fullback Reece Walsh.
Evans, 29, faces the heaviest sanctions and could be banned for seven weeks. The forward has been charged with a grade one dangerous contact charge for a tackle on Beau Fermor, as well as a grade two contrary conduct charge for his role in one of the melees.
Even with an early guilty plea, Evans would still face a six-week suspension, due to his poor judicial record.
Earlier this year, Evans was handed a suspension for throwing punches at Cronulla Sharks centre Will Chambers and was also fined $5000 for writing an explicit message on his wrist strapping.
Meanwhile, Lodge, 26, has been charged with dangerous contact and will miss one week, regardless of an early guilty plea.
Walsh, 19, has been charged with contrary conduct and could miss the Warriors' first game in 2022, while Tevaga, 26, has got off the lightest of the four, facing a fine of between $1900-2250 for the same offence.
Club chief executive Cameron George has held an impromptu media session to apologise for the Warriors' performance in the defeat.
