Lisa Adams has the chance to win a second medal of the Tokyo Paralympics, as New Zealand completes its Games campaign on Saturday.
Adams, 30, has already stood on top of the podium in Tokyo, winning the women's F37 shot put, and competes again in the F38 discus.
But while Adams comfortably claimed gold in the shot put and set a new Paralympics record in the process, similar success in the discus may prove harder to come by, with the Kiwi ranked ninth in the starting field.
Elsewhere, canoeist Scott Martlew is the first New Zealander in action on Saturday, racing in the men's VL3.
Martlew finished an agonising fourth in the men's KL2 final on Friday, but returns to Sea Forest Waterway for another hope at a medal, starting with the VL3 semi-final.
Shooter Michael Johnson also returns to compete in the SH2 mixed rifle prone. Johnson has already finished sixth in the mixed 10m air rifle standing and ninth in the mixed 10m air rifle prone, but will compete again in the hope of a fourth Paralympics medal.
Johnson won gold at Athens 2004, and back-to-back bronze medals at Beijing 2008 and London 2012 in the 10m air rifle standing.
The trio are New Zealand's final athletes in action at the Tokyo Games, which come to a close on Sunday.
Saturday's action comes a day after gold-winning performances from long jumper Anna Grimaldi and javelin thrower Holly Robinson.
New Zealand is 20th on the Paralympics medal table, with six gold medals, three silver and three bronze.
