Stephen Fleming's Chennai Super Kings have marched into the final of the Indian Premier League, after skipper MS Dhoni's brisk cameo secured their thrilling four-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals in the qualifying final at Dubai.
Chasing 173 for the win, three-time champions Chennai needed 13 off the last over from Tom Curran and Dhoni smacked three boundaries to seal the win with two balls to spare in a six-ball innings of 18.
Delhi can still make Friday's final if they can beat the winner of Tuesday's (NZ time) eliminator between Mike Hesson's Royal Challengers Bangalore and Brendon McCullum's Kolkata Knight Riders in the second qualifier on Wednesday.
Blackcaps Kyle Jamieson (Bangalore) and Lockie Ferguson (Kolkata) could be in action.
