74th min - Clean lineout win and they roll the maul and earn a penalty just on their own side of halfway. McClutchie finds touch at the Mako 22m.
72nd min - Big defensive stand by the Magpies and they win the penalty! Clutch turnover won on their own line.
70th min - Scrum in the centre of the field for Tasman. Some thunderous defence here from the hosts. Hunt nails the 50/22! Massive. Tasman will throw the attacking 5m lineout.
69th min - Fainga’anuku throws a speculator into touch, after some staunch Magpies defence. McClutchie sends an enormous clearance off his own line and into Tasman territory.
67 mins - Tasman penalty at the 50m, and Hunt sends them to a lineout at the HB 22m.
64 mins - HB find some space out wide off some purposeful attack. Wide ball goes to ground from the hand of Mikaele-Tu'u, had open pastures ahead. The crowd gasp. Tasman scrum at halfway.
62 mins - 15 phases, 5m out now Tasman. HB holding on. Parsons wins the defensive penalty to end a 25-phase attack inches from his own line. Huge play.
60th min - The Mako plug the corner from another penalty. 22m lineout.
57th min - TRY HAWKE'S BAY to Neria Fomai
Enari opens some space down the blindside, Flanders draws another tackler and makes the offload for Fomai, who does well to power over in the corner.
Ash Dixon is down, replays show Tuungafasi went no arms into the neck area. Referee want this checked upstairs. Suprisingly, no card at all, just a penalty. Wow.
Anyway, McClutchie steps up to nail the conversion. (HB 31-22)
55th min - HB with some front-foot ball now. 15 out from the Mako line. 14 phases deep...
53rd min - Hunt sends another one over the black dot from handy range. Two points in it, and the Mako resurgence continues. (HB 24-22)
50th min - Tasman finding their rhythm now, moving inside the HB 22m. Offside penalty blown up and Hunt will no doubt have a crack at the posts again here.
45th min - Penalty advantage cashed in by The Bay. McClutchie calls for the kicking tee. Tricky chance here, 40m on the angle...and it's wide.
41st min - Great start Tasman, winning the kick-off, Hugh Renton putting Makalio in space, only for a knock on to turn the ball over.

40th min - Mikaele-Tu'u breaks the defensive and bolts clear, only for the referee to bring him back, ruling he'd gone to ground and needed to play the ball. Replay suggests it was a clean break, rough call.
Hunt strikes another penalty to send us into the sheds. (HB 24-19)
38th min - Nankivell isolated and Cridge wins the HB defensive penalty in the shadow of their posts. Huge moment there, the try was on out wide.
37th min - More poor discipline from HB allows the Mako to set a 5m lineout. Momentum on their side.
33rd min - TRY TASMAN to Shannon Frizell
Patient build-up play by the Mako and the All Blacks forward runs a great line off the ruck to cross next to the posts. Hunt bangs it over. (HB 24-16)
31st min - Intentional knock on against HB and the Mako have given up on the three pointers, look to the lineout 15m from the HB line.
29th min - TRY HAWKE'S BAY to Stacey Ili
Mako mistake from the restart and HB swoop. Bullocking run down the right edge from Jonah Lowe, dragged down just short. Ili is on hand to wrangle the ball over from the ruck. They want to check this upstairs, and the try is awarded. Conversion is over. (HB 24-9)
27th min - Fifth-straight penalty goes against The Bay. This will be another gift three points for Tasman. No mistake made. (HB 17-9)
26th min - Another penalty against HB and the Mako will throw a lineout at the hosts' 22m.
22nd min - HB hold up the player in the tackle and win a scrum at the Tasman 22m. Stray pass gives it back to Tasman.
21st min - Hunt lines up a penalty shot that probably should never have been due to a Tasman foot in touch earlier in the movement. Sends it over. (HB 17-6)
17th min - TRY HAWKE'S BAY to Lolagi Visinia
Another scintillating attack from HB ends with a five-pass move sparked by Lincoln McClutchie and finished by try machine Visinia in the corner. Three tries in 20 minutes for The Bay. Conversion unsuccessful. (HB 17-3)
16th min - Big loss for Tasman with Quentin Strange forced from the field with injury. HB with more front foot ball.
14th min - TRY HAWKE'S BAY to Brendon O'Connor
More slick handling from the Magpies forwards to keep the ball alive, as a 30m movement ends just inches short for O'Connor to pounce from close range. The hosts are on fire early. (HB 12-3)
12th min - Turnover won by HB for the restart. Into the 22m they go, but an errant pass goes into touch.
10th min - Mako cash in their penalty advantage. Hunt lines up a shot from 22m on a slight angle...over it goes. (HB 5-3).
7th min - Tasman do well to win the restart but a fumble kills their momentum. Scrum HB on their own 22m.
Visinia breaks from the setpiece, find support inside but the next pass goes into Tasman hands. They do well to plug one into the corner and setup a lineout at the HB 22m.
4th min - TRY HAWKE'S BAY to Ereatara Enari
What a try! Flanders starts it with a turnover in their own 22m, Mikaele-Tu'u rampages down the right edge and finds Enari to finish it in the corner. Conversion wide. (HB 5-0)
2nd min - Hawke's Bay work through five phases before knocking on. Scrum Tasman at halfway.
Hunt goes early to his boot, cheeky chip kick over the top for a lineout. The Bay clear but with little purchase and Tasman are quickly on their way to the Bay 22m.

Kia ora and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the blockbuster Ranfurly Shield challenge between Hawke's Bay and Tasman in Napier.
The Mako are heading north looking to create history by becoming the first Tasman side to lift the coveted Log o'Wood.
Marlborough managed to win it back in 1976, but the modern version of the Mako have yet to taste that glory, having fallen short in their last attempt against Wellington in 2012.
Meanwhile, the proud Magpies will be out to record their eighth successful defence of the most treasured prize in NZ domestic rugby.
