Penrith Panthers winger Brian To'o had double the reasons to celebrate his side's NRL premiership victory over South Sydney Rabbitohs - getting engaged after the final whistle.
To'o, 23, was a key cog in the Panthers' side that won the NRL's 2021 premiership, and added an engagement ring to his haul by proposing to partner Moesha Crichton-Ropati.
The winger scored 15 tries in 21 games in 2021, and was part of the New South Wales State of Origin side that defeated Queensland 2-1 earlier this year.
"Pretty happy that I've got a ring and she does as well," To'o says.
"I just told her she's the best thing that's ever happened to me then got down on one knee.
"I was planning to do it during Origin but due to COVID it didn't happen, so [I] made the next step to push for a Grand Final."
Crichton-Ropati is the cousin of To'o's Panthers teammate Stephen Crichton, who also had a night to remember by scoring in the 14-12 victory that gave Penrith a first NRL premiership since 2003.
