4.1 - He starts on leg-stump, and Latham turns the ball around the corner for a single to short fine leg. Ishant Sharma fields and stays down in a lot of pain after fielding. It looks like a finger injury? That could be his day done, India's main strike bowler. Ishant leaves the field with the physio.
4.2 - Short delay to tend to Ishant, as Somerville faces. He gets out in front his pad and defends.
4.3 - Length, Somerville covers the spin in defence.
4.4 - Turn. Somerville plays with the spin, but pads the ball to the leg-side.
4.5 - Somerville presses forward and gets an inside edge onto his pad that falls safely.

The pitch doesn't appear to have deteriorated too much from yesterday, but there are still demons when batting against the spinners.
The good news for the Blackcaps is that they'll only have to look at batting out 90 overs, more than 50 overs fewer than they batted in the first innings.

The first bit of news is that it looks like play will start at 5pm (as it has for the first four days), so there won't be any making up of overs lost to bad light.
That should hopefully play into New Zealand's hands, with about 90 overs to survive, or push for victory.

Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the final day of the first test between New Zealand and India from Kanpur.
How can you not love test cricket? After four gruelling days at the ironically named Green Park, all three results are possible heading into today's final day.
The Blackcaps must score another 280 runs for victory or bat out until the end of play to save a draw. ON the other hand, the hosts only need to take nine wickets on a pitch that has already caused plenty of problems for the Kiwi batters.
India are the overwhelming favourites on paper - but cricket's not played on paper.
As seen by Will Young's dismissal late on day four, this wicket will be tricky to bat on, but the Blackcaps' two best players of spin will still have a part to play.
Tom Latham will resume on two, joined by night watchman Will Somerville, with Kane Williamson due next.
The Blackcaps face a task of batting about 90 overs to save the game - less than the 142.3 they batted in the first innings, which can give Kiwi fans hope.
But if New Zealand are to win, the 280 runs needed will be the most scored on a single day's play in this test, more than India's 258 all the way back on day one.
As they've done all test, India's hopes will rest on their spin axis of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and NZ's first innings destroyer, Axar Patel.
