Just looking at the pitch, where there are footmarks at both ends outside of the left-handed batter's off-stump.
So that could prove problematic for Latham, Henry Nicholls and Rachin Ravindra, and also give the Kiwi right-handers something to watch out for against the left-arm spinners coming over the wicket.
What's more, the Blackcaps will have to bat last on this pitch, so a first-innings lead is going to be key.

The Blackcaps can feel like they're in a position of strength after yesterday, but so much of this test will depend on this morning.
Young and Latham will resume their innings, both unbeaten with half-centuries. But it doesn't matter how many you've got overnight, you still have to get back in the next day - which will be hard on this wicket.
Ravichandran Ashwin has been out looking at the pitch this morning, with the wicket bound to deteriorate throughout the day. A few balls have kept low, and a few others have turned square, so a first-innings lead will be so important for the Kiwis.

Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's live updates of day three of the first test of the World Test Championship clash between the Blackcaps and India from Kanpur.
There's no other way to put it - the Blackcaps won day two.
A stunning effort with the ball from Tim Southee, coupled with a herculean opening stand between Will Young (75 not out) and Tom Latham (50 not out) will see New Zealand resume at 129/0 - still 216 runs behind.
And while the pitch in Kanpur will almost certainly begin to break up and take ridiculous amounts of turn for the spinners from today, the moral victory belongs to the Blackcaps - so far.
With all 10 first innings wickets in hand, New Zealand will need to get as close to India's 345 as possible, if not take the lead.
That all starts with Young and Latham, while the likes of Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls, Tom Blundell and Rachin Ravindra will all have to play a huge part in what's to come.
India meanwhile will have to go back to the drawing board. Their spin-heavy attack caused the odd scare for Young and Latham, but ultimately ended day two without any reward.
The hosts have 23 overs before they can take the new ball, which should happen before lunch, praying for some unplayable spin or reverse swing in the meantime.
Interestingly, New Zealand were paying $13.50 for victory at the start of day two, those odds have come right down to $4 for a Kiwi win heading into day three. India are still the favourites, although the draw has also seen its odds shorten from $4.35 to $2.41.
We lost more overs towards the end of day two, so play could start earlier than the 5pm (NZ time) start time, despite the horrendous air pollution early in the Kanpur morning.
