Kiwi Michael Venus and his German partner Tim Puetz are through to their third - and most prestigious - ATP doubles final of the year at the Masters 1000 tournament in Paris.
The pair have continued their outstanding run of form to reach the title decider, comfortably dispatching the in-form Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares 7-5 6-3 in the semi-finals on Sunday (NZ time).
It was a dominant performance from Venus and Puetz, who converted three of their 10 breakpoint chances and never faced a breakpoint on serve in the match, which lasted just under an hour and 30 minutes.
In Monday's final, Venus and Puetz will face the winner of the match between the Kiwi’s former partner Australian John Peers and Slovak Filip Polasek who are seeded fourth, or French third seeds Nicolas Mahut and Pierre Hugues-Hubert.
The world No. 18-ranked pair will look to secure their second title together, after winning the ATP 500 on clay in Hamburg in July. They also finished runner up at the ATP tournament in Washington DC in August, before the US Open.
In the singles final, World no. 1 Novak Djokovic will face Daniil Medvedev for a chance to clinch a record-extending sixth consecutive Paris Masters title.
