The Silver Ferns have called in three specialist coaches to help put final touches on their preparations for next month's Quad Series in the UK.
The trio, who were influential in their own World Cup success, have been imparting their knowledge on the team as they look to return to their winning ways.
Even the incoming All Blacks selector also made an appearance at the Ferns' camp.
With less than a month until the Quad Series, Dame Noeline Taurua has called in the big guns as her side ramps up its preparations.
Bringing in specialist coaches, and legends of the game in this country Margeret Foster, Donna Wilkins and former Ferns head coach Yvonne Willering.
"We're lucky to have them," says midcourter Claire Kersten.
"They definitely add value to what Noels and Deb [Debbie Fuller] are already doing with us."
The three were a huge part of the Ferns' preparations for their World Cup win back in 2019, and Dame Noeline wants them to help inspire the group once again.
"The timing is good," she says. "We are a wee bit tired, and they're able to lift it up another notch - and really that's another reason we are here."
But it didn't stop there, Dame Noeline is calling on newly appointed All Blacks selector Joe Schmidt to help with advice to the coaching staff.
"Him looking at our planning and processes and not necessarily critiquing it, but sharing his ideas," she says of Schmidt.
The focus now is next month's Quad Series, and Dame Noeline is tipping the hosts as the team to beat.
"England's going to be really hard. I think at the moment, they are number one - with the squad they have."
A challenge the Ferns are excited to meet head-on, when they head north next month.
