Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the Super Smash men's final between Northern Brave and Canterbury Kings at Hamilton's Seddon Park.

The Northern Districts side have arrived at the championship game off the back of an eight-game winning streak - their only loss this season came against Otago Volts in December - a record easily good enough to top the competition table and seal home final advantage.

Canterbury had to overcome defending champions Wellington Firebirds in the playoff to reach this stage, a sweet victory that erased memories of last year's final, where the capital side deprived the Kings of a clean sweep of domestic titles.

TAB Odds: Northern Brave $1.80, Canterbury $1.90

Northern Brave: KD Clarke, TL Seifert, JA Raval, MJ Santner, C de Grandhomme, HR Cooper, SC Kuggeleijn, A Verma, TG Southee, IS Sodhi, JG Walker
