NZ Warriors have completed the signing of half Ash Taylor for the 2022 NRL season, upgrading him from a train-and-trial contract.
Taylor, 26, linked with the Warriors, after leaving Gold Coast Titans as a free agent.
And after a spell with the Kiwi club in their Australian-based pre-season, Taylor has inked a one-year contract with the Warriors, joining Shaun Johnson, as well as Chanel Harris-Tavita and utility Kodi Nikorima as options in the halves for 2022.
"We're excited to confirm Ash is staying with us," says Warriors football general manager of Craig Hodges. "He has been a great addition since joining the club and has more than met our expectations.
"He has added so much with his training ethic, enthusiasm and his all-round contribution."
Club captain Tohu Harris welcomes Taylor's signing.
"Ash has fitted in well with our group and we're really enjoying having him around," he says. "He has given us an experienced voice and has added to the competition in our halves."
The Warriors are Taylor's third NRL club, after stints with both Brisbane Broncos and the Titans.
