Kiwi Ryan Fox is one round away from his first victory since 2019, holding a six-shot lead over the rest of the field at the European PGA Tour's Ras Al Khaimah Classic in the UAE.
Starting his day with a three-shot lead over second place at 12-under, Fox carded another seven birdies as well as two bogeys for a seven-under 65 to move to 19-under for his first three rounds.
The 35-year-old opened his third round with four straight birdies on the front nine and added another on the eighth hole for good measure.
Not even a bogey on the ninth could halt Fox's momentum, to complete the front nine at four-under.
Another birdie on the 10th was cancelled out by a bogey on the 12th, before Fox found his rhythm on the back nine.
From there, Fox didn't drop another shot to finish his round, making birdies on the 13th, 16th and 17th holes to come away with a six-shot lead heading into the final day.
Spanish duo Pablo Larrazabal and Adri Arnaus, Poland's Adrian Meronk and Scotland's Scott Jamieson all share second place at 13-under, six shots off challenging Fox for a share of the lead.
Victory in the UAE would give Fox his first event win since 2019, when the Kiwi lifted the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth title, in what was his 12th crown as a professional.
