NZ Warriors' final NRL pre-season trial match has been cancelled, due to extreme weather in Queensland.
The Kiwi club were scheduled to face Gold Coast Titans at Redcliffe's Moreton Daily Stadium on Saturday, only for heavy rain to see the match postponed until Monday.
Unrelenting rain did see the fixture shifted to the Gold Coast's Cbus Super Stadium, only for it to be cancelled outright with conditions not suitable to host the match.
The Warriors have confirmed that the fixture won't be rescheduled again, seeing the Kiwi club and the Titans denied their second pre-season trial matches.
The match was due to be Shaun Johnson's return to Warriors colours, after sitting out of last week's pre-season victory over Melbourne Storm.
Johnson's return will now have to wait for the Warriors' NRL season opener, facing St George Illawarra Dragons at Sunshine Coast Stadium on March 12.
