Kiwi Shane van Gisbergen has completed a perfect weekend at Supercars' Tasmania SuperSprint, winning all three races at Symmons Plains.
Reigning champion van Gisbergen won the weekend's first race on Saturday night, and backed it up on Sunday afternoon with another two victories, extending his lead at the top of the Supercars championship to 67 points.
Van Gisbergen took an extra point from his third victory, also setting the fastest lap of the race.
Three victories over the weekend gives the 32-year-old Aucklander a total of 58 career wins, moving him to fourth on the overall list of Supercars winners.
Only ex-teammate Jamie Whincup (124), Craig Lowndes (110) and Mark Skaife (90) have taken the chequered flag more times than van Gisbergen.
Sunday's first win also moved van Gisbergen clear of compatriot Scott McLaughlin's 56 victories.
McLaughlin holds the record for most victories over the course of a season with 18, but with van Gisbergen currently sitting at four wins from five races so far in 2022, the Kiwi will almost certainly back himself to create Supercars history.
"It's pretty awesome," van Gisbergen said after his third win of the weekend..
"The car's been really good all weekend. Each race we had to work for it.
"I'm pumped. I was screaming over the radio pretending I had no rear, so they pitted early.
"We've got some tough competition from these guys, I don't mean that in a bad way."
Van Gisbergen will look to further increase his Supercars championship lead at the Melbourne 400, staged from April 8 to 10.
