The Blues will be without Nepo Laula for the next three weeks, after the All Blacks prop was suspended on a charge of dangerous play.
In the 57th minute of the Blues' 32-19 win over Moana Pasifika at Mt Smart Stadium on Tuesday, Laula led with his shoulder on an attempted ruck clear-out, connecting with Moana Pasifika centre Fine Inisi's head.
Laulaua received a red card for his action and later pleaded guilty to the charge of dangerous play in a ruck or maul.
Marcel Renata will replace Laulala in the starting front row in their rematch against Moana Pasifika at Eden Park on Saturday.
The 40-test international will also be unavailable for the away matches to follow against the Chiefs and Crusaders.
