Kiwi boxer Joseph Parker will take on Brit Joe Joyce in a heavyweight showdown in July.
The bout was confirmed during the undercard of Tyson Fury's title fight against Dillian Whyte on Sunday (NZ time), with the fighters making an appearance ringside to square off.
Parker's team have been involved in lengthy negotiations with Joyce's camp, with Sunday's announcement the confirmation of long-swirling rumours regarding his next opponent.
The 13-0 Joyce won a silver medal at the 2016 London Olympics and has reeled off 13 straight wins since turning professional.
Most recently he scored an impressive 10th-round knockout over Daniel Dubois and also boasts a sixth-round TKO over Carlos Takam, who Parker beat in Auckland back in 2016.
Parker is coming off consecutive wins over Englishman Derek Chisora and is currently riding a six-fight win streak.
A venue for the bouts is yet to be announced.
