Moana Pasifika's Super Rugby Pacific clash against Western Force has been postponed, after an outbreak of COVID-19 in their opposition's camp.
Originally scheduled to be played on Friday night, the round 10 match will now be played at a later date, with a number of Force players having tested positive for the virus.
SANZAAR on Wednesday night confirmed the Force are unable to field a team for Friday's clash, leading to its postponement.
The news comes as another COVID setback for Moana Pasifika, who've already seen multiple fixtures this season forced to be postponed, with cases first in their own camp, and then in their opponents'.
The postponements have led to a congested schedule for Moana Pasifika, with matches played within days of each other on more than one occasion.
The match was supposed to be part of Super Rugby Pacific's 'magic round', where all 12 teams from both sides of the Tasman were to play the six scheduled matches at the same venue of Melbourne's AAMI Park.
Instead this week will now comprise of only five matches, barring any more COVID-19 disruption.
