Wing Mark Telea has been called into the All Blacks squad as a replacement player for the first test against Ireland at Eden Park on Saturday.
The Blues stand-out will act as cover for Crusaders star Will Jordan, who's been ruled out of contention for the gameday squad after testing positive for COVID-19.
Jordan has become the latest member of the team to have been struck down by the virus, joining head coach Ian Foster and assistants John Plumtree and Scott McLeod in isolation, as well as Crusaders teammates David Havili and Jack Goodhue.
On Monday, Crusaders midfielder Braydon Ennor was also added to the All Blacks squad as cover.
Former Ireland coach and now New Zealand selector Joe Schmidt has been drafted in to help fill the void, and will work with remaining assistant coaches Brad Mooar and Greg Feek.
Telea is expected to remain with the team until the end of next week.
