Basketball: Golden State Warriors upset Boston Celtics at home to seize back NBA Finals advantage

Steph Curry has recorded 43 points and 10 rebounds, and Golden State Warriors have evened the NBA Finals at two games apiece with a 107-97 victory over Boston Celtics at Boston.

Curry made 14 of 26 field-goal attempts - including seven of 14 from three3-point range - while moving with ease on the left foot he injured late in Game Three. His previous high in this year's post-season was 34.

Klay Thompson scored 18 points, and Andrew Wiggins contributed 17 points and a career-high 16 rebounds for the Warriors, with Jordan Poole adding 14 points.

For Boston, Jayson Tatum had 23 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and three blocked shots. Jaylen Brown scored 21 points, Marcus Smart added 18 and Derrick White had 16 for Boston, and Robert Williams III collected 12 rebounds.

Game Five is scheduled for Tuesday (NZ time) at San Francisco, with the Warriors now grabbing back home advantage in the best-of-seven series.

Golden State finished the game with a dominating 17-3 burst over the final five minutes.

Smart drained a three-pointer to give Boston a 94-90 lead with 5m 18s remaining, but the Warriors answered with 10 consecutive points. Wiggins scored on a putback, Thompson hit a 3-pointer and Curry sank a floater for a 97-94 edge with 3m 49s to play.

Neither team scored for more than two minutes, before Curry buried his seventh three-pointer to make it a six-point margin.

Al Horford ended the Celtics' drought by hitting a three-pointer with 1:32 left, but Golden State's Kevon Looney made a lay-up and Curry sank five of six free throws down the stretch to seal it.

Golden State made 44 percent of their shots and were 15 of 43 (34.9 percent) from behind the arc. Looney grabbed 11 boards.

The Celtics shot 40 percent from the field, including 15 of 38 (39.5 percent) from three-point range.
