Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker has signed a lucrative long-term promotional deal with Sky Sport UK.
Parker parted ways with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom boxing after his win over Derek Chisora in December and has since been operating as a free agent.
He had been in negotiations with Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions but the two parties couldn't agree to terms, instead choosing to join the British broadcaster under its 'BOXXER' promotional banner.
The 30-year-old has been in ongoing discussions to lock in a fight date with Englishman Joe Joyce, which is still very much on the table.
The winner of that bout would secure mandatory challenger status for the WBO title currently held by Oleksandr Usyk. The Ukrainian is poised to rematch Anthony Joshua later this year, with Tyson Fury reportedly next in line for the winner in a title unification bout.
"In signing with [chief executive] Ben Shalom and BOXXER I'm excited for the next phase of my career, where I will become a two-time world champion on Sky Sports, the best TV platform in sports.
"I've had a great relationship with Sky Sports in the past, with many great fight nights against the leading British heavyweights.
"I'll fight absolutely anyone put in front of me."
A rematch against Dillian Whyte is another option looming for Parker, who is on a six-fight win streak since losing to the Brit in 2018.
