In less than 12 hours, New Zealand will face Costa Rica for the chance to secure a spot in this year's Football World Cup in Qatar.
This may be the last time the NZ men face a one-off qualifier, with the Oceania region granted an automatic spot from 2026, but world football boss Gianni Infantino has a warning for the Kiwis - don't get complacent.
The All Whites are 90 minutes away from making history - a third appearance at the game's showpiece tournament.
"It's just about finding a way to get past our last obstacle, which is Costa Rica," said captain Winston Reid.
They’re determined to overcome that obstacle to play in the biggest sporting event on the planet.
"This is the moment now," said coach Danny Hay. "This really is our moment, this is our time, but we know it's not going to be handed to us on a plate."
And qualifying will remain a tough prospect, even when Oceania is granted direct entry at an expanded tournament in four years.
FIFA president Infantino warns Newshub there's no guarantee the All Whites will be on the plane.
"When we decided to go to 48 teams, the first message or tweet by some colleague of yours was, 'Well, congratulations to New Zealand for having qualified for 2026'," he said. "Well, New Zealand has not yet qualified for that World Cup."
But Infantino concedes it would be nice to see the Kiwis back in the finals.
"In 1982, where Italy won the World Cup, but New Zealand of course played in that World Cup, and 2010, where New Zealand gave a hard time to Italy as well. We all remember that."
For now, fans are preparing for a nervous 90 minutes against Costa Rica.
"It would be pretty special, pretty emotional for everyone," said one All Whites supporter.
"To have a one-off like this gives them the best chance against a team like Costa Rica," said another. "I was at the game against Bahrain - it’s been etched into my memory."
For the players, it's the moment they've trained for their entire lives.
"These are probably my prime years, so this is a perfect opportunity for me," said star striker Chris Wood. "I'm very much hopeful and determined to get us back there."
Striker Ben Waine said: "It's something I've been dreaming about for a while, so hopefully fingers crossed."
Said goalkeeper Oli Sail: "The carrot's dangling there and it's just this 90 minutes - or potentially more - that's going to carry us there."
The time for talking's done, with one shot for football glory.
