New Zealand led early, but Korea were quick to get back in the game in transition, sparking nine lead changes, before a final dominant quarter from the victors.
The Tall Blacks only shot 31.1 percent from the three-point line, but with so many attempts, it was enough to connect with 14 to hand them the advantage.
Cameron continued his fine form with another breakout performance, finishing with 22 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. He was also responsible for arguably the game's most defining moment, with a posterising slam dunk with less than two minutes to play.
Taki Fahrensohn (16) and Tohi Smith-Milner (14) were also key to New Zealand's cause, while Sam Timmins recorded an outstanding 14 rebounds to give the Tall Blacks the edge.
Ra Gun-ah was the best of the Koreans, as he notched a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Choi Jun-yong came close to a triple-double, with 11 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for the evening.
New Zealand's win sets up a rematch of the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup semi-final against Australia, with the Boomers winning on that occasion.
