The Tall Blacks have crushed the Philippines 106-60 in their FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifier at Auckland on Thursday night.
Playing their first home game in four years, the New Zealanders were far too strong for the overmatched Gilas Pilipinas, as they registered their eighth win from their past nine games.
Breakers forward Finn Delany led the charge for the Kiwis with 14 points and seven rebounds in just 19 minutes of play, while Dion Prewster added 15 points and Tom Vodanovich pulled down nine rebounds to go with eight points.
Head coach Pero Cameron was able to spread his minutes across the squad, going deep into his bench- which contributed 51 points - on a night when his team were in complete control.
Despite struggling from beyond the arc, where they nailed just nine of their 33 attempts, the Tall Blacks still shot over 50 percent from the field, while holding their opponents to a miserly 33.9 percent.
After leading 47-21 at halftime, the hosts poured on the points in the second half, including 32 in the final quarter to extend the lead beyond the 40-point mark.
The Tall Blacks' next World Cup Qualifier game will be held at Auckland on August 29.
