The Blackcaps have sealed the three-match one day international series against Ireland with a game to spare, after a three-wicket victory in game two at Dublin.
After a dominant effort with the ball routed the hosts for 216 in 48 overs, half-centuries to Finn Allen and captain Tom Latham saw New Zealand reach their target with more than 10 overs to spare, losing seven wickets.
Two days after his matchwinning 127 not out to snatch a one-wicket victory in the series-opener, all-rounder Michael Bracewell again starred, this time with bat and ball, taking two wickets and scoring an unbeaten 42 to guide his side home.
Winning the toss and bowling first, Latham's decision was vindicated, when Matt Henry (2/40) removed both Ireland openers with the new ball.
New Zealand's spinners got stuck into the middle order, as Bracewell (2/26) and Mitchell Santner (2/32) both completed their 10-over spells at less than four runs per over.
Ireland's only salvation came from all-rounder George Dockrell, who resisted the Blackcaps attack to pass 50 in 48 balls. Running out of partners, Dockrell hit 10 fours and two sixes in his innings, before he fell at 74, giving debutant Jacob Duffy (1/52) his first ODI wicket.
Chasing 217 for victory, New Zealand were in trouble right away, as Martin Guptill and Will Young both fell for golden ducks, clean bowled by Mark Adair (2/29) from the innings' first two balls.
Latham survived the hat-trick ball and combined with Allen in a partnership worth 101 runs to get the innings back on track.
In just his second ODI, Allen recorded his maiden fifty from only 47 balls, hitting six fours and two sixes on the way to his milestone, but departed for 60 not long after, when he was caught at mid-on, off the bowling of Curtis Campher (1/17).
Latham raised his own half-century off 72 balls, but lost Henry Nicholls (17) and Glenn Phillips (16) at the other end.
Spinner Simi Singh (2/51) trapped Latham leg before wicket for 55 to give Ireland hope of pulling off a heist at 177/6, as Santner also went, caught by Campher, with the Blackcaps 197/7.
But with no scoreboard pressure, Bracewell and Henry (three not out) scored the required 20 runs and guided their side to a series-winning victory.
These two rivals will meet again in the final match on Friday (NZ time), as the Blackcaps look to complete a series sweep.
Ireland will play solely for pride, with the carrot of achieving their first win over New Zealand in any format.
Ireland 216 (Dockrell 74; Bracewell 2/26, Santner 2/32, Henry 2/40) New Zealand 219/7 (Allen 60, Latham 55, Bracewell 42 not out; Adair 2/29)
