Sky Sport broadcaster Justin Marshall will keep his job after social media footage emerged of him in an intense encounter with a group of All Blacks, including blindside flank Akira Ioane.
Earlier this week, the video surfaced of the former All Black and veteran commentator in a verbal altercation with a group of current players, following their infamous 32-22 loss to Ireland on Saturday night.
Chris Major, chief corporate affairs officer at Sky TV, has confirmed Marshall's job wouldn't be affected by the incident.
Marshall was "part of our Sky team travelling to South Africa to cover the two tests" between the All Blacks and Springboks, Major said in a statement to Newshub.
Marshall has not yet spoken out about the incident.
An NZ Rugby statement on Thursday said behaving responsibly was one of the All Blacks' "core values".
"Shortly after the video was taken, our management was informed by team security, who was always with the players," said the statement. "Our security was managing the group in a separate area at the venue.
"We have contacted venue staff and spoken at length with players and security staff, who recall words being exchanged with another individual, as they were leaving. Our security proceeded to escort our players to their transport.
"The group was working to meet their curfew and when faced with a tricky situation, they did what they could to ensure everyone departed safely at the appropriate time."
