Kiwi Ryan Fox will return down under, committing to play the Australian PGA Championship in Brisbane and Australian Open in Melbourne later this year.

Fox boasts one win and six more top 10 finishes in 2022, to sit fifth on the DP World Tour's rankings for the year.

The two tournaments will see Fox return to play in Australia for the first time since 2019, after recently moving inside golf's top 50 ranked players.

"I'm very excited to play in Australia again later in the year," Fox said.

"It's good to have big tournaments back in Australasia and us Kiwis love coming across the Tasman to show up the Aussies on their home soil.

"I've had a good season on the DP World Tour so far, hopefully I've got a big finish in me, and then it would be fantastic to wrap up the year with a win, or two, in Australia.

"It's great to see the DP World Tour working with these events too and I look forward to hearing plenty of Kiwi accents in the crowds at Royal Queensland, Victoria and Kingston Heath."

The Australian PGA Championship begins on November 24, with $2 million of prize money up for grabs, while the Australian Open begins on December 1, boasting a $1.7 million prize.
