Leti-I'iga goes close to scoring and Reynolds is next cab off the brank, driven over by two teammates. Demant hooks her conversion left, NZ 22-7
22nd minute - McMenamin runs off the back of the scrum goes close to the tryline. Forwards lay seige, Aussies defend valiantly and Ferns eventuall release to the backs.
21st minute - Ferns win the lineout and release to the backs, where Steinmetz tries to wrestle her way over. The ball shifts left, but Brunt drops it cold... Ferns were playing under advantage and take a scrum under the posts.
20th minute - Demant's kick finds touch near the corner flag, as Chelsea Bremner replaces Ngan-Wood and Delamere replaces Connor at hooker.
19th minute - Aussies win the lineout, but Freidrichs is driven back by a tackle from Leti-I'iga and Ferns win a penalty at the breakdown.
18th minute - Another big Ferns scrum, but Hamilton breaks upfield for Australia and Tui is penalised for playing the ball on the ground.
17th minute - Roos wins the long throw to the lineout, but the Ferns are penalised in the maul, so another scoring opportunity wasted.
15th minute - Big shove from the Ferns pack and they win a scrum penalty outside the 22. Demant finds touch about 10 metres out from the tryline.
14th minute - Ferns win a scrum penalty, as Aussies collapse the front row. Tubic finds touch on the Aussie 22, but Connor's throw to the lineout is crooked.
13th minute - Ferns control the kickoff, but Tubic floats a long pass to Tui that travels forward.
11th minute - TRY to Ngan-Woo
Taumata makes another strong run to within a few metres and Ngan-Woo is there to pick up and score - well deserved reward for her efforts this afternoon. Demant converts, NZ 17-7
10th minute - Murray replaces Love in the Ferns front row, as the scrum packs down. Tui runs off Bayler, looking for a gap.
Ninth minute - McKenzie finds touch, but the Aussies are still pinned in their 22 and their lineout throw is not straight.
Eighth minute - Taumata takes half the Aussies with her a rumble, then finds McMenamin metres out.
Tui tries to dance over and is almost driven over, but the Aussie defence win a penalty on their line to frustrate the Kiwis.
Seventh minute - Steinmetz takes a high kick from McKenzie, Ngan-Woo runs and Tui breaks up centrefield, as the Ferns pour onto attack.
Sixth minute - Taumata replaces Kalounivale in the front for NZ, her test debut. Aussies drive forward from the scrum, but the Ferns win the ball, then lose it again to Parry.
Fourth minute - Chancellor wins another penalty at the breakdown, but the kick downfield doesn't find touch. Ferns bring the ball back to halfway and Leti-I'iga sets Bremner loose on the left, but she spills the ball in the tackle.
Third minute - Ferns win the lineout, but their maul is stalled. Bayler gives the ball to the backline and Tui is driven back in a big tackle from Pilae-Rasambale.
Second minute - Aussies win a scrum penalty, with O'Gorman getting the better of Love in the front row.
Roos steals the ball from the Aussies lineout and Ferns win a penalty in midfield, after another charge from Ngan-Woo.
First minute - Tubic kicks off for the Ferns to start the second half and Leti-I'iga takes the short kick, but the Ferns knock on on midfield to hand the ball back to the Aussies.

40th minute - From the scrum, Tui chips aimlessly, but the Aussies have it covered and find touch, as the siren sounds for halftime. They'll be happy to be so close, but they have had the wind for the opening 40 minutes.
39th minute - Ferns take a scrum near the 22 to launch an attack before halftime.
38th minute - Untidy handling in the Ferns backline, but Tui retains possession. The forwards take control near the 22, and Ferns have a penalty and a double blast - another warning for the Wallaroos.
37th minute - Aussies are back to full quota, as Ferns win an untidy scrum and Leti-I'iga has to muscle her way into midfield.
36th minute - Ferns take a tap penalty near halfway, and try a tap and crosskick, but Terita gathers and clears her 22.
35th minute - Aussies overthrow the lineout, but they win the ball in centrefield and edge towards halfway. Big tackle from Brunt in midfield.
34th minute - Another big push from the Ferns, but McKenzie finds touch on the 22 with a clearing kick.
Ferns win the lineout, but Parry is over the breakdown and wins a penalty for the Aussies.
33rd minute - Aussies replace their props only half an hour into the game, an admission things aren't working well in the scrum.
32nd minute - Ferns win a lineout and Demant runs an angle off Bayler. Ball shifts right and forwards lay seige on the tryline.
Eventually, the ball is thrown to Leti-I'iga, but she takes a tackle at the same time and can't gather it.
31st minute - Aussies' scrum is pushed back and Ferns win a penalty. Demant finds touch for an attacking lineout...
30th minute - Ferns are trying to build an attack, but a pass is deflected by Karpani and the Aussies could be another player down. No, Ferns knock on and Aussies have a scrum.
29th minute - Ferns co-captain Kennedy Simon is being helped off the field, replaced by McMenamin.
28th minute - Roos breaks a tackle and charges a few extra metres. The ball goes lose and Aussies come away with it, but they're brought back by a double blast on the whistle.
Lafai is shown yellow for persistent infringements and the Aussies are a player shot now.
27th minute - Ferns control the kickoff and keep the ball in hand. Tui takes a chip crosskick and reaches halfway.
25th minute - TRY to Connor
Connor picks and runs from the ruck, dragged down short of the line. Brunt goes close and Connor is there to go again for the try and the lead.

24th minute - Simons runs off the back of the scrum and finds Demant running an angle. Ferns rumble towards the tryline with penalty advantage...
23rd minute - Ferns win a counter-ruck on halfway and Ngan-Wood rumbles into the Aussie half. Big tackle in midfield, but Ferns win a scrum.
Tubic enters the game to replace Semple, with the yellow card served.
22nd minute - Ferns steal a lineout off the Aussies, but their clearing kick barely reaches halfway and the Wallaroos are back on attack.
21st minute - From the kickoff, Ferns shift right, where Tui is running freely, but Chancellor wins a penalty at the breakdown for Australia.
20th minute - Demant slots the penalty to open her team's scoring, AUS 7-3
19th minute - Ferns have the penalty and Demant will take the kick at goal from directly in front.
18th minute -Solid scrum from the Ferns and they have an advantage inside the 22.
17th minute - Tui kicks to her wing, but the bounce comes back to her chase. Another kick is gathered by the Aussies, but the ref is playing under advantage and Ferns take a scrum in midfield.
16th minute - Roos wins another lineout and the Ferns work towards the 22.
15th minute - Roos wins a lineout and the Ferns work towards halfway. Tui kicks downfield and chases, but the Aussies barely cover the loose ball.
14th minute - Aussies attack again and Friedrichs makes a break down the left, but Ferns win a penalty at the breakdown to clear.
13th minute - Kiwis struggling in the early stages and now a player short.
12th minute - Semple is being led off the field and the ref is exploring a potential red card for the clash of heads. That would be absolutely heartless - much like Angus Ta'avao's for the All Blacks.
Eventual ruling is a yellow card, so Ferns will play a player short for 10 minutes.
11th minute - TRY to Terita
Aussies win another lineout and charge forward. Semple is absolutely smashed in an attempted tackle in midfield, as the ball shifts right and Terita's hands are good this time.
McKenzie slots the sideline conversion, AUS 7-0
10th minute - Wallaroos playing advantage and shift right, where Teria has an overlook, but can't gather the final pass. They come back for the penalty...
Ninth minute - Aussies turn down the shot at goal and find touch five metres from the tryline for an attacking lineout.
Aussies win the lineout and change the point of attack in the maul. They rumble forward...
Eighth minute - Aussies playing under advantage inside the 22 and they come back for the penalty.
Seven minute - First scrum of the game, Aussie feed, but they're pushed backwards. Aussies have an advantage in midfield, but rush into the 22.
Five minute - Aussies win a lineout outside their 22 and try to bust up midfield, before eventually clearing.
Fourth minute - Ngan-Woo wins the lineout and the forwards rumble towards the goal-line, winning another penalty. Double blast on the whistle and the Aussies are warned, after four quick penalties.
Ngan-Woo wins another lineout five metres out, but the maul collapses and Aussies win a clearing penalty.
Third minute - Aussies are penalised again for a high shot and Ferns have an attacking lineout inside the 22.
Second minute - Ferns win a lineout on halfway and forwards rumble forward, winning a penalty advantage.
First minute - Aussies kick off and Simon takes the ball for NZ. Ferns try to shift the ball right, but the ball is dropped in midfield... playing advatange for offside.
2:41pm - Beautiful conditions at Adelaide for this fixture, but the Ferns have made a late change, bringing Tanya Kalounivale into prop for Amy Rule. Australia will have a strong tailwind for the first half.

Kia ora, good afternoon and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the Laurie O'Reilly Cup clash between New Zealand and Australia at the Adelaide Oval.
When these teams met seven days ago at Christchurch, the Kiwi women were no match for the Aussies, piling on 50 points and allowing just a late consolation try - the ultimate insult - to take control of the two-match series.
The second clash today is the last scheduled hitout before these two rivals meet again on opening day of the Rugby World Cup at Eden Park in October and coach Wayne Smith has mixed things up, giving some of his fringe players a chance to stake their claim for starting spots.
Most notably, Waikato halfback Ariana Bayler takes over for veteran Kendra Cocksedge in the No.9 jersey, while Chelsea Semple and Logo-I-Pulotu Lemapu form a newlook midfield.
Gracn Steinmetz will make her test debut at fullback, while prop Santo Taumata will make her first international appearance off the bench.
