Rugby Championship: NZ Rugby chief executive Mark Robinson fronts media after All Blacks win over South Africa

NZ Rugby chief executive Mark Robinson will front a media conference on Sunday evening, after the All Blacks' stunning 35-23 victory over world champions South Africa at Johannesburg.

The result halted a three-match losing streak and provided just the second win in seven games, dating back to the national team's northern hemisphere tour last year.

The horror run of results have seen head coach Ian Foster battling for his job, with victory over the Springboks seen as an absolute minimum requirement to keep the role - and even then possibly not enough.

After the All Blacks lost a home series to Ireland for the first time last month, Robinson described the performance as "not acceptable" and promised improvement. They subsequently lost their Rugby Championship opener to South Africa at Mbombela, barely firing a shot, as they fell to a worst-ever world ranking of fifth,

But their latest result at the Springbok stronghold of Ellis Park has restored some faith in the team's direction and may be enough to save Foster from an early exit.

Join us at 5:30pm for a livestream of Robinson's media conference.
