The All Blacks are preparing for an extra hot Bledisloe Cup match at Eden Park on Saturday.
Star forward Ardie Savea missed the win in Melbourne for the birth of his third child but he's seen - and heard - enough to know their Rugby Championship finale is sure to have some extra spice to it.
"I watched [the first Bledisloe test] with my 'day one' boys back at home in a small local pub," Savea told Newshub.
"Every time there was a lineout move everyone was like 'Ardie, what's the next move'."
Similar to that night at the pub, there's been plenty of chatter in the lead up to the rematch, where - despite the Bledisloe Cup being safely stowed away - there will still be plenty at stake.
"There's been a lot of edge, both ways," noted Savea. "Now we're at Eden Park and there's a lot of history there, so there's a lot to play for."
A win would go a long way to helping the All Blacks defend their Rugby Championship title. They're currently equal on points with South Africa - who play Argentina on Sunday - but have a superior points differential.
After their heartbreaking loss at Melbourne, the Wallabies have vengeance on their mind.
Coach Dave Rennie has been stoking the flames on an already heated Bledisloe clash, still simmering over the controversial manner of their defeat and the perceived inconsistencies in the judicial process that saw Darcy Swain cop a six-week ban for an illegal clear-out, claiming All Blacks prop Fletcher Newell escaped punishment for a similar offence.
But Savea's not falling for Rennie's provocation. After all, Bledisloe tests are never short of needle.
"When we go to battle it's always a contest," he said. "There's always going to be an edge, there's always gonna be fiery moments."
And the powerhouse No. 8 is primed to step back into the furnace on Saturday night.
