Kiwi Joseph Parker has suffered his third career defeat - and first career knockout - beaten by England's Joe Joyce at Manchester's AO Arena.
After struggling for most of the first 10 rounds, Parker's night ended in the 11th, as a left hook from Joyce knocked him to the canvas.
As Parker struggled to regain his feet, referee Steve Gray didn't wait to call the fight in Joyce's favour. At the time of the stoppage, Parker trailed on all three scorecards.
"Joseph Parker, what a fighter, what a great fight," Joyce said. "It was a tough fight.
"Credit to Joseph Parker, because he's improved. What a tough fight.
"I enjoyed it, it was tough in there. I had to dig deep to get through the rounds - I really enjoyed it though.
"I hit him with everything I've got. Literally, the kitchen sink, the handbag, everything.
"I managed to drop him at the end, but it was hard work."
Victory gives Joyce the WBO interim heavyweight title and puts him in the frame to challenge Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the title after victory over Anthony Joshua, who took it from Parker in 2018.
The Kiwi started as the better of the two fighters, but Joyce came back to take the second round.
In the third, Joyce had Parker in trouble, before Parker came back strongly to take the fourth - but from there, it was one-way traffic.
A cut over Parker's right eye was a sign of things to come and Joyce didn't relent. Parker, showed incredible character to resist and stayed on his feet.
Defeat sends Parker's career back to the drawingboard, with his prospects of challenging for another world heavyweight title taking a huge hit with his latest defeat.
