Blues coach Leon MacDonald will lead an All Blacks XV on a two-match end-of-year tour against Ireland A and the Barbarians in November.
MacDonald has been confirmed as head coach, with Clayton McMillan and Scott Hansen his assistants.
The match against the Barbarians will be played at the 62,000-capacity Tottenham Stadium, with the Ireland clash staged at Dublin's RDS Arena.
MacDonald is treating the two games as test matches and is looking forward to the challenge of leading an historic All Blacks XV.
"It's an honour to coach any team with the silver fern on the jersey and I'm looking forward to coaching a strong squad for what will be two tough matches," he said.
"This team is representing New Zealand on the world stage and we will be taking that responsibility very seriously, particularly as the first group to wear the All Blacks XV jersey."
The All Blacks XV's game against the Barbarians will serve as another head-to-head battle for MacDonald against Crusaders coach and former teammate Scott Robertson.
The Super Rugby champion has already been confirmed as co-coach for the famous invitational club, alongside former assistant and Irish international Ronan O'Gara.
NZ Rugby head of high performance Mike Anthony is excited by the match-up and hopes it will make for an entertaining tussle.
"The quality of these matches will present an ideal challenge, and an opportunity to experience different playing styles and get exposure to overseas touring," he said.
"To play against international opposition, in front of large, passionate crowds is invaluable for our next tier of talent a year out from RWC 2023."
