Dates for the Blackcaps' visits to Pakistan have been confirmed, with New Zealand to tour twice during the upcoming home season.
After their planned 2021 tour of Pakistan was cancelled due to a security threat, the Blackcaps will return twice in the space of five months, playing a combined two tests, eight one-dayers and five Twenty20 Internationals.
The dates mean the Blackcaps will not play at home during the festive Christmas and New Year period.
The first tour, from late December to early January, will consist of the two tests - both part of the ICC World Test Championship - and three ODIs, part of the ICC Super League as qualifying for next year's Cricket World Cup.
Karachi will host the first test and all three ODIs, while Multan will host the second test.
The second tour is scheduled for April, with the T20s and five more ODIs. Karachi will host the first four T20s, before the teams travel to Lahore for the final T20 and first two ODIs.
Rawalpindi will host the final three ODIs, held at the start of May.
The Blackcaps' Indian Premier League commitments will likely see a weakened side for the second tour, which has been the case with the end of the New Zealand home summer for the last two seasons.
"I know our players can't wait to arrive and savour the experience of playing in Karachi, Multan, Lahore and Rawalpindi - places that carry a great cricketing heritage," said New Zealand Cricket chief executive David White.
"The recent tours from Australia and England have left us in no doubt regarding the quality of the Pakistan side across all formats, and the extent of the challenge that awaits us."
Pakistan are currently in New Zealand for a T20 tri-series against the home side and Bangladesh, serving as a warm-up for the Twenty20 World Cup in Australia later this month.
