Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's live updates of this second National Provincial Championship semi-final, as Canterbury host Bay of Plenty in Christchurch.
After Wellington booked their spot in next week's final with a convincing win over Auckland, these two sides can look to do the same with a win of their own at Orangetheory Stadium.
Hosts Canterbury can take another step towards a 15th provincial title, having not won the NPC since 2017.
Victory would give Canterbury a first final appearance since 2018, when they fell to Auckland to end a run of nine titles in 10 years.
Should the Red and Blacks emerge victorious, they would host the NPC final next weekend.
Bay of Plenty meanwhile would be looking for title No.2, with only their 1976 championship filling the trophy cabinet.
Saturday could also see George Bridge's final appearance for his province, after the former All Blacks winger signed to join French side Montpellier earlier this week.
The Steamers have never won in their 16 visits to Christchurch, including a 40-28 loss earlier this year.
But fresh from a 34-27 quarter-final victory over Waikato last week, Bay of Plenty will be confident of ending that run on Saturday.
