Silver Ferns coach Dame Noeline Taurua has named two different teams for the Constellation Cup against Australia Diamonds, beginning October 12.
Captain Ameliaranne Ekenasio and nine other players have been named for all four tests of the trans-Tasman tournament.
Midcourters Mila Reuelu-Buchanan and Peta Toeava, and defender Sulu Fitzpatrick will join the side for the Auckland opener and second fixture at Tauranga on October 16.
Recently capped defender Elle Temu, and midcourters Maddy Gordon and Kimiora Poi have been added for games at Melbourne and Gold Coast.
The Silver Ferns haven't played Australia since the Netball Quad Series in January, avoiding each other at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
Dame Noeline looks forward to a fierce series against Australia, as they continue to build towards next year's Netball World Cup.
"We understand the importance of giving our elite athletes as many opportunities as possible ahead of next year's Netball World Cup, but we also know we'll need to bring our best against the Diamonds with the goal of defending the Constellation Cup," she said.
"This is the test we have been focused on, and I'm wanting to see the players consolidate the team strategies we have been working on and make the most of time on court against the Commonwealth Games gold medalists."
The Silver Ferns have also reshuffled their coaching staff for the series, with Yvette McCausland-Durie named assistant and Debbie Fuller assisting for the two matches in New Zealand. Jane Woodlands-Thompson will take over Fuller's duties for the Australian leg.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to get a number of eyes on our players and for me to seek input from various sources who can add something different," Taurua said.
The Silver Ferns last played for the Constellation Cup in 2021, with the hosts winning three of four tests played at Christchurch, ending a nine-year drought in the trans-Tasman rivalry.
