Winger Mark Telea will make his All Blacks debut, named in coach Ian Foster's side to play Scotland at Murrayfield Stadium on Monday (NZ team).
Telea is one of nine changes to New Zealand's matchday squad that overwhelmed Wales a week ago, with only left wing Caleb Clarke retaining his position among the backs.
Second-five David Havili and centre Antony Lienert-Brown will form a new midfield combination, with Jordie Barrett shifting back to fullback and Rieko Ioane dropping to the bench.
Beauden Barrett will wear the No.10 jersey in place of Richie Mo'unga, who drops out of the 23 altogether, with Stephen Perofeta providing cover from the substitutes.
Veteran halfback TJ Perenara is poised to make his first All Blacks appearance of the season from the bench, with Scotland-born Finlay Christie preferred to Aaron Smith in the No.9 jersey.
There are also changes in the forwards, with standout hooker Samisoni Taukei'aho getting the nod ahead of Codie Taylor.
Tighthead prop Nepo Laulala and loose forward Akira Ioane come into the starting XV, with Tyrel Lomax dropping out of the squad and Shannon Frizell moving to the bench.
"We've selected a team that excites us this week," Foster said. "In many ways, this test is crucial for our tour as a whole and it's a chance to show how we're building as a group.
"Remembrance Day will make the occasion even more special. I think it's important for us to honour our veterans for what they do for us."
