Jordie Barrett will remain in the All Blacks midfield for one more test at least, as coach Ian Foster named his side to face Wales in Cardiff on Sunday morning (NZ time).
After finishing the All Blacks' home season in midfield due to a lack of options, the youngest Barrett brother put in a memorable display in the No.12 jersey in the 40-14 victory over Australia at Eden Park.
That display sees Barrett retained in midfield, combining with Rieko Ioane at centre, while older brother Beauden has been named at fullback.
Elsewhere, Codie Taylor is preferred at hooker to form the front row alongside Ethan de Groot and Tyrel Lomax, with Samisoni Taukei'aho named to start on the bench.
In the second row, captain Sam Whitelock is partnered by Scott Barrett, after Brodie Retallick's two-test suspension for his red card against Japan.
Dalton Papali'i has been given the nod at No.7 to replace regular captain Sam Cane, unavailable after fracturing his cheekbone against Japan.
Will Jordan's continued absence to an inner ear issue sees Sevu Reece named on the right wing as one of few survivors from the team that started against Japan.
On the bench, prop Ofa Tuungafasi will bring up his 50th test appearance, while halfback Brad Weber will make his first All Blacks appearance of the year after missing out on the squad initially.
David Havili lines up in the No.22 jersey as cover for both midfield and fullback, while Anton Lienert-Brown's road back to the All Blacks starting side continues with another appearance in the No.23.
Sunday will be the second time in two years the All Blacks face Wales in Cardiff, after a 54-16 win at the same venue in October 2021.
