A protester holding a rainbow flag and with a shirt saying "Respect For Iranian Women" on the back has run onto the pitch during the match between Portugal and Uruguay at the Football World Cup in Qatar.
Security staff quickly intervened and moved away the protester, who also had "Save Ukraine" on the front of his shirt.
The tournament has been surrounded by controversy over hosts Qatar's treatment of the LGBT community as well as anti-government demonstrations in Iran.
Portgual went on to win the match 2-0, with Bruno Fernandes scoring twice, as the European side clinched their spot in the round 16.
Uruguay, third on one point, must beat Ghana in their final group game to have a chance of progressing.
