The Kangaroos insist they're treading with plenty of caution, before their Rugby League World Cup clash with NZKiwis, despite being overwhelming favourites in their semi-final.
While New Zealand haven't been at their best, the Aussies haven't been troubled so far, but they know it's likely to be a different story this weekend.
There were plenty of laughs at Kangaroos training today, but coming up against their old rivals - the Kiwis - with the losers missing out on the World Cup final is no laughing matter.
"You don't get too many opportunities to pull the green-and-gold jersey on, so we'll be going out there with a pretty narrow focus on what we want to do," Australia hooker Harry Grant said.
It's the game everyone has waited for - the sides haven't played in three long years, but that finally changes this week.
"As a kid, you grow up, these are the matches you've always watched and always dreamt of being a part of," Grant said. "Australia-New Zealand is a big one that's always been there for many years, so I'm really looking forward to it."
Australia know a Kiwis side who weren't happy with their performance against Fiji are a side looking to make a statement.
"Yeah, especially against us," Kangaroos utility Valentine Holmes said. "It's going to be a pretty good game.
"Both teams are playing pretty well. I think it's going to be won through our middle.
"The middle third... it's going to be a tough kind of grind again, because they have a pretty good pack."
Said Grant: "We're expecting a different outfit again this weekend.
"Obviously, they'll have the same mindset as us - fine-tuning and trying to get things right for this week."
The contest promises to bring some fireworks among friends too, with Melbourne Storm hooker Grant relishing the chance to battle best mate and Kiwis counterpart Brandon Smith.
"I think he's sort of taken a backwards step, he's a bit of a lover at the moment," he said. "Probably not this weekend... he'll probably try and take my head off, and someone else's head off, but usually in the games, he's pretty funny."
Rugby league's biggest stars will be on display this weekend at Leeds and while there will be plenty of individual battles between mates, it boils down to a classic tussle between the Aussies and the Kiwis, with the winners booking a place in the World Cup final.
