The All Blacks XV have named an exciting side laden with test experience for their northern tour opener, facing Ireland A in Dublin on Saturday morning (NZ time).
Seven capped All Blacks will take the field as part of the starting side to face Ireland A, led by the pair of captain Patrick Tuipulotu and vice-captain TJ Perenara.
In midfield, the duo of Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Braydon Ennor start together after leaving the All Blacks' camp following last week's narrow 38-31 win over Japan in Tokyo.
The pair were both released from the All Blacks heading to Europe, in order to find more playing time with the All Blacks XV.
Damian McKenzie will pair with Perenara, starting in the No.10 jersey as he bids to break back into the All Blacks' ranks after a stint in Japan.
In the forwards, Chiefs pair Aidan Ross and Luke Jacobson are the other test capped players to start for the All Blacks XV.
Ross forms the front row alongside Brodie McAlister and Tevita Mafileo, while Jacobson is joined by Dominic Gardiner and Marino Mikaele-Tu'u in the loose forward trio. Josh Dickson partners captain Tuipulotu at lock.
In the backs, Hurricanes standout Ruben Love is named at fullback, with the pair of AJ Lam and Shaun Stevenson starting on the two wings.
"We are anticipating a huge challenge from Ireland A on Friday," said coach Leon MacDonald.
"They are a top tier, physical team with strong attack and defence, as we saw earlier this year against the Māori All Blacks.
"The players are all out to showcase their immense skills and strength as a team, they're excited to get this opportunity to play on an international scale and to represent New Zealand in what will be a proud moment for players and their whanau."
