Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez continues to push the boundaries of Argentina's World Cup celebrations after further mocking French forward Kylian Mbappe.
The Argentine shot-stopper posed with a doll wearing a mask of the young superstar, just two days after demanding a minute's silence "for Mbappe who is dead".
Martinez was instrumental in his side's first World Cup win since 1986 and was awarded the golden glove for being the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
But his exploits since the triumph have caused a stir among football fans, including being pictured holding his accolade over his groin and motioning in a crude manner.
He admitted the gesture was aimed at French supporters, who booed him during the final against France.
"I did it because the French booed me. Pride does not work with me," Martinez told radio station La Red.
However, his most recent stunt won't help him silence his critics, with popular UK broadcaster Piers Morgan slamming Martinez's dig at Argentine star Lionel Messi's club teammate.
"Why is Messi letting Martinez mock & humiliate Mbappe like this? They’re teammates at PSG, just so weird & graceless," he posted on Twitter.
