Former New Zealand Warriors coach Daniel Anderson has reportedly been rushed to hospital after a body surfing accident in New South Wales.
According to Sydney Morning Herald, Anderson was body surfing at Soldiers Beach when he appeared to have been dumped by a big wave.
The injury is thought to have caused the 55-year-old to suffer a cardiac arrest.
After family members rushed to his aid, Anderson was transported to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he's in a stable condition.
In his first head coaching role, Anderson steered the Warriors through one of their most successful periods, guiding them to their first finals series in 2001 and the Grand Final in 2002.
He also coached the New Zealand Kiwis team from 2003 to 2005.
Anderson currently works for Sydney Roosters as a recruitment manager.
