NBA star and former teammate Paul George has given insight into Kiwi Steven Adams' incredible strength, with a stunning revelation.
George played with the imposing centre for two seasons while the pair were both at the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Adams has become a cult figure since being drafted in 2013, personified by his incredible feats of strength.
Standing at 7ft with a colossal frame even by NBA standards, he has established himself as one of the league's most physically imposing players.
But it's George's revelation on his podcast that left his guests stunned.
After picking Adams in his all-time starting role players lineup, he went on to explain what makes Adams so special.
"One of the best screeners I have ever played with - shoutout to Steven Adams," George said on Podcast P.
"You get hit by Steven Adams, and your bell is rung. He's one of those dudes that don't lift weights, he does not lift weights. He's just naturally strong."
Adams hasn't played for the Memphis Grizzlies since injuring his knee in January, but could return for the NBA playoffs.
Despite his absence and troubled off-court controversy surrounding star Ja Morant, the Grizzlies have maintained their second-seed spot in the Western Conference.
With four games remaining, they trail the Denver Nuggets by three wins, as they look to solidify their position before the playoffs and Adams' timely return.
